Desi gram, besan and the dal shelf.
Chickpeas and gram are a genuine Pakistani strength — desi and kabuli chickpeas, chana dal, roasted gram and stone-milled besan. Around them sits the wider dal shelf, traded with the same specification discipline.
Gram lines are specified for count, moisture and admixture; besan for granulation and freshness. The wider pulse shelf frequently moves through Pakistan from global crops — those lines carry per-lot origin declarations as a matter of course.
